It’s Sunday night and I just got home from The Wynwood Farmers Market. It’s actually more of a handmade artisan market because there aren’t any actual vegetables for sale, but think cute vintage clothes, decor, and jewelry.
So I’m going to keep it short and sweet this week because I’m feeling sleepy (I blame it on the sun).
Here’s what I’ve been up to…
Since I’ve been intermittent fasting until noon most days, I’m obsessed with combining two of my favorite meals into one. I like to make a super big green salad with basically any veggies that I have on hand. I’ll always add a half of avocado, fresh squeezed lemon juice, chipotle pepper, olive oil, hemp seeds for Omega-3s, and then top it off with a fried egg and 2 slices of organic pastured bacon. I feel like it’s the best of both worlds and it’s really easy to toss together.
I can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to wander into an Athleta store. I stopped in just the other day and fell in love with the giant selection of athletic and athleisure clothing. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time finding workout clothes that I actually like. I love basic, black, white and gray for working out. I know it’s kind of boring, but I never have to worry about matching and the least decisions I need to make the better.
These pants are so freaking comfortable and also super transitional as a casual outfit or as something I might wear to hike or do yoga.
I posted this picture on Instagram earlier today while I was lounging by the pool, reading this book, and cooling off from a sweaty run. I’ve been participating in the Tone It Up Bikini Series and every Sunday is run day. In case you didn’t know, the Bikini Series is an 8-week fitness challenge leading up to the first day of summer and it’s actually really fun.
Anyone else a TIU girl?
Alright, I’m signing off to wash my face and do the skincare routine. Next up I’ll be sharing my grain-free coconut pancake recipe. Keep an eye out for it.
